Nous réalisons les trois missions solidaires que nous a confié l’État pour l’aménagement du fleuve Rhône : la production d’hydroélectricité, la navigation et l’irrigation, avec une attention constante à la préservation de l’environnement et de la biodiversité.
A joint stock company in the general interest, CNR applies its model to ensure the balance between industrial performance and territorial responsibility, mirroring the image of our public-private shareholders. This balance guarantees a resilient economic model in the service of the State, the territories, and companies.
The renewed confidence of the State, manifested by the prolongation of the Rhone concession until 2041, allows us to deploy our corporate strategy in the long term, placing emphasis on sharing the value produced, and firmly engaging us in the dynamics of technological, energy, and environmental innovations.

The challenges of climate change and globalisation more than ever require building resilient, carbon-free, economic models, with particular attention given to the planet’s resources and their limits.
Water, wind and sun are our most precious common assets and decisive vectors of development, progress and life. So that these energy sources benefit everyone, today and tomorrow, it is necessary to rationalise their uses with consideration, consistency and sustainability in mind, and share their value with the territories and their populations.

Our subsidiaries
A pioneering company advocating for energy transition, with our subsidiaries Vensolair and Solarhona, we develop a 100% renewable energy mix of hydro, wind and solar power that meets the needs of the territories. Thus, we innovate to invent tomorrow’s storable and controllable renewable energies.
Vensolair focuses on renewable energy projects in close collaboration with the territories and their stakeholders, by developing efficient solutions in harmony with local challenges. Expert in wind and solar power, repowering, battery storage and renewable hydrogen, Vensolair assists elected representatives, companies, landowners, farmers and citizens to implement meaningful projects that generate value.
Solarhona assists its partners in the Rhone Valley in every stage of solar power projects, from development to operation. In close collaboration with local actors, Solarhona accelerates the ecological transition of the territories, by adapting national ambitions to realities in the field, by developing solar power projects on rooftops, PV canopies, on the ground and on lakes through the implementation of a participative and redistributive model.
