- - Ôrizon 2035, the Rhône-Saône river axis plan
The Rhône-Saône river axis plan was developed jointly by CNR and VNF, at the request of the Interministerial Delegate for the development of the Mediterranean Rhône-Saône port and logistics axis, Mr. Jean-Christophe Baudouin, as part of the work carried out on the axis from 2017 to 2020. The creation of this plan is one of the 82 measures adopted during the Interministerial Committee for the Sea organized in Dunkirk on November 15, 2018 (measure no. 11).
Entitled “Ôrizon 2035”, its ambition is to drive the development of navigation. Carried out between 2019 and 2022, Ôrizon 2035 is now fully finalized. A preliminary diagnosis and the study of several scenarios resulted in an action plan aimed at all stakeholders, both for river freight transport and for river tourism.
CNR and VNF wanted to involve the economic and institutional players in the region involved in river transport in the production of this plan, through numerous discussions and collaborative workshops.
Ôrizon 2035 is available in three downloadable documents:
