line-height: normal;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The floating photovoltaic plant<\/span><\/h2>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"inner-wrap \">\n        <div class=\"as--column as--columns-2\" auto-reveal>\n                            <div class=\"as--column__item editor-wysiwyg h-align-left\">\n                                                                                                        <p>Commissioned in 2019, this floating photovoltaic plant of 2,500 m\u00b2 was installed on the irrigation reservoir of Madone, managed by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.smhar.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SMHAR<\/a>\u00a0(Syndicat Mixte d\u2019Hydraulique Agricole du Rh\u00f4ne), at the centre of a site accessible by the public.<\/p>\n<p>This plant illustrates the<strong> integration of renewable energies<\/strong> within other activities, in this case agriculture. The energy produced by the <strong>630 photovoltaic panels <\/strong>supplies the <strong>irrigation pumps in self-consumption mode<\/strong> to provide water to fields at greater altitude. line-height: normal; text-align: center;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Monitoring animal biodiversity <\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/isara.fr\/en\/student\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ISARA<\/a>\u00a0(Institut Sup\u00e9rieur d\u2019Agriculture Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes) has carried out a <strong>physiochemical analysis<\/strong> of the reservoir and monitoring of the aquatic fauna. CNR completed these studies by setting up <strong>environmental DNA monitoring<\/strong> of the reservoir. The first conclusions in 2019 confirmed the interest of installing spawning grounds and nurseries. Further monitoring campaigns will allow adapting the spawning installations and their functions if necessary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monitoring of the activity of chiroptera (bats) and avian fauna <\/strong>around this solar power plant was also started in 2020, to determine the interactions between the installation and flying fauna.<\/p>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n        <div
